Shoot Now, Focus Later: The Light Field Revolution

Lytro Inc announced that they are developing a “light filed “ camera and soon will be launched for their customers .The Light filed camera can capture all of the light rays in a scene and thus facilitates focussing a picture after it is taken. This will also create interactive pictures that can be focussed and refocused by both photographer and the viewer.

The Light field is the determinant factor that how a scene appears, from the foreground to background. The Light field camera can capture the entire light field, the light travelling in all direction through a scene in four dimension. The shot taken using this camera can manipulate later, this facility allows the photographer to shoot without the fear of being out of focus and you never be worried about the sharpness of the image.

According to the CEO and founder Dr.Ren Ng this is the next big revolution of the camera after the Digital revolution

    iFrame movie
The iFrame video format is a simple way to quickly import, edit and share your video.

Creative shooting modes & manual control
Creative shooting modes give you the opportunity to experiment. Fish-eye Effect re-creates the distortion of a fish-eye lens while Miniature Effect transforms landscapes into miniature scale models. For the look and feel of a picture taken with an older style camera try Toy Camera Effect.
