New PEN- Olympus PEN-E-PM1


         Olympus introducing latest one in its PEN Camera series, the latest one is Olympus PEN E-PM1.The Camera sharing almost same features with its brethren cameras and distinguishes with some additional or enhanced features.


Features

The Company ensured that all the recent PEN Cameras share the same sensor.The E-PM1 has the same 14-42mm sstandard zoom lens,12.3MP high speed Live MOS sensor as the E-P3 and the E-PL3. Besides these E-PM1 has the same FAST (Frequency Acceleration Sensor Technology) AF systems as the other two models, it has a 35 focus point distributed over the sensor .

The Dual Core Processor

The dual core processor stores an image simultaneously while you are going for another shot , so you need not to wait for the camera to save the data in to the memory card , it gives you the freedom to shoot as many shots in the burst mode .Since the internal technologies are about the same as its forerunners, this camera distinguishes only in size and some features.

The Distinguishing features

The E-PM has the capacity to shoot at 4.1 fps(5.5 fps when IS switched off) while the costly E-P3 has only 3fps. E-PM1 has Six Art filters and it weighing 100 g .The 3 inch LCD that offers a 16:9 aspect ratio- ideal for video.

       Canon releases the successor to its 300 HS latest compact camera and named it after Canon Digital IXUS 310 HS. A very compact enough to fit in the palm of human hand. This is a 12.1 MP camera based on touch screen interface, it has a wider lens equivalent to 24-105 mm as compared to its predecessor.The IXUS 310 equipped with semi manual control with the availability of Aperture Priority and Shutter Priority and Program Modes and this is a feature not available in the less expensive rival models. The outstanding feature of this model is its video capabilities.The IXUS 310 HS shoots full HD 1080 video, as compared to the 300 HS shoot only 720p video.It can also shoot super slowmotion movies at 240fps.

Olympus Launches World's Longest Zoom Camera


After Nikon announces the COOLPIX P500, with 36x zoom lens, Olympus also following it. The Key difference of Olympus' new super zoom camera with its competitor Nikon that it is longer at telephoto end and this makes the camera the world's longest zoom in any compact camera.The SP-810UZ's lens begins at 24mm and goes up to 864mm, as compared to the Nikon P500 which has a 22.5-810mm lens.

Along with this, company also released two other compact cameras.The SZ-11 and VG-15.

The SZ-11 is a 14MP superzoom camera with a 20x zoom
